Secret of life
The secret of life is learning to like what you do not like.

My daddy has always had all these funny little sayings that are chock full of useable wisdom. I have found myself quoting this one daily at home, especially when my son says "I don't like work."

Leda, you make me proud to hear that some of the things I tried to teach all of my children are still being used to teach the next generation. It is obvious that you have learned the secret of life.
