Groaning, and prayer for peace

I woke up this morning and I first thought was of Hadrienne. Then there was a flood of tears. Tears of joy for her accompanied by unutterable groanings for her family. None of us have words good enough to comfort or express or satisfy. Yet the spirit interceeds; I feel it. I am praying for peace for the family and friends and for them to rest and wake up trusting Him. What else can we do but groan and pray for His comfort. Romans 8:26-28 Lamentations 3

Fun with Gramma

mom1.jpg

When my mom was here a few weeks ago, we decided to head up to Signal Mountain to the pumpkin patch and Fairmount Orchards. The day before had been lovely and warm. That day was just plain cold. Gramma bought cider and we were excited when we pulled into the pumpkin patch to play and have a picnic finding no one else there at the playground. We quickly learned why no one else was there, it was freezing!!!! We huddled for lunch, sipped delicious cider and played quickly. Still, a good time was had by all and our warm car non the trip home felt like paradise.
Love you and miss you mom!

Gitty Up

My mom brought this precious and snuggly soft horsey costume for Xaverie. When she is not wearing it, she wants to sleep with it.

Widows Thanksgiving boxes

Every year the Chattanooga Association of Realtors does a food drive for Widows Harvest Widows and a lunch is also provided by area chefs. This Wednesday I will be helping assemble the donated food into boxes so that we can give it out on Thursday. If anyone in St.Elmo is interested in helping me on Wednesday, please email me at leda@widows.org.
